Mina Kumari and Roy live in Lincoln, Nebraska. Roy was a Peace Corps Volunteer just ahead of my group and he married Mina and brought her to America. He teaches with US AID at the University of Nebraska. I had a chance to communicate with Roy by email and by phone with Mina on March 29. I learned so much! They have two grown children, one in Wisconsin, one in Minnesota. Mina has a sister in London and two brothers and a sister (Phal Kumari) in the Nepalese village where I lived. She seems to me to be the best contact I can get in the village, as she has a cell phone and an email address, which I hope to find out. She can even do Skype, but the electricity is only on a few hours a day.
