At last, I'm ready to buy my plane ticket! with a layover in Beijing even. Done! Purchased. Leaving July 29 for Canton, transfer to Beijing for a few days to see a school or two, then to Kathmandu for a few days to tour a school, and then fly to Pokhara to visit the school in my village, where I taught so many years ago. I can't contact the school because I have no email or phone contacts. Will I just show up and explain myself? (No, I have contacted people on the ground in my village who have been waiting for me to call. They are expecting me August 7.)
